NAI is a full-service, merit-shop electrical contractor headquartered in Ames, Iowa.  Established as a local contractor in 1985 with 15 employees, NAI has become one of Iowa’s largest electrical contractors, with over one hundred employees. Having successfully completed projects throughout Iowa and surrounding states, NAI has established an unparalleled reputation for customer satisfaction.

NAI is employee owned, beginning with six stockholders. Today, 16 stockholders own the company and plan to increase this number to include other key employees in the future.

We have successfully completed projects in many project categories, including: commercial office, design-build, industrial processing, retail, municipal water & waste treatment, hospital and medical facilities, institutional, educational, communication installations, high voltage distribution, process control, fire alarm and underground installations.

Our twenty-four-hour service department keeps us connected to our customers whenever we’re needed because we take pride in operating our organization in a friendly, efficient manner, focusing on external as well as internal customers.
